Undergraduate or Postgraduate students with low household income can apply for financial assistance of up to £300 towards equipment to support electronic learning.
The Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé wishes to support students from low income families who have no or limited access to IT equipment or an internet connection in order for them to undertake their studies. The Digital Access Bursary is funded by our Greenwich Hardship Fund and there are a capped number of awards.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for the Digital Access Bursary you will need to meet the following criteria.
- You are a fully registered new (year 0 or 1) home student at the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé starting in September 2024 or January 2025,
- You are studying at one of our campuses (Greenwich / Avery Hill / Medway).
- A UK National or an EU National with the full maintenance loan from Student Finance England (or equivalent) and are fully income assessed tom demonstrate a household income of £25,000 or less.
- If you are studying a postgraduate course, you will receive a postgraduate loan and you have a clear plan for paying your course costs.
You must also consent to share information with the University to verify your entitlement to the Digital Access Bursary.
How to apply
Applications will close 5pm on Friday 23rd May 2025
Due to the high volume of applications, assessments may take up to 28 days.
Please apply via the Greenwich Hardship Fund.
Applicants must provide supporting evidence relative to their circumstances as per the student checklist.
The Greenwich Hardship Fund 2024/25 will close 5pm on Friday 23rd May 2025.
2025/26 applications will be open at the end of October 2025.
